On May 7th 2009, Rebecca Lowmiller went into the Taco Bell in Andover and bit into a taco that had a bone piece not removed from the meat. It got between her teeth on the right side of her mouth and cracked the teeth and required a new root canal. The case was filed in Sedgwick County District Court and ultimately a settlement was reached. The settlement covered Miss Lowmiller’s past and future medical expenses, which covered Miss Lowmiller’s injuries.
